Let Battle Commence

Marston's Pedigree is a beer borne out of generations of brewers, decades of experience and lifetimes of acquired skill and knowledge.

We know how hard we work to make Pedigree the beer it is – and we know how hard our boys work at keeping the flag flying for English cricket.

We'll be there for them through all the ups and downs and with Pedigree you can too. You can check out the England team’s progress and 'King of Swing' Jimmy Anderson's visit to the Marston's Brewery on the cricket page.

"You get lovely spicy hops, juicy malt and a very light hint of apple fruit, It’s an incredible beer."
Roger Protz, Good Beer Guide Editor
In 1952, Marston's launched a new pale ale. Christened Pedigree by Marston's Managing Director Sydney Evershed, it reflected how the beer had descended from a long line of famous brews.
A 60 year Pedigree

Pedigree is exactly the same as it was when we first brewed it in 1952 and it's still the perfect ale for today.

Marston's Pedigree Official Beer of England Cricket

With the England team back home after their West Indies draw the season begins at home with the first Investec Test against New Zealand before the mighty Investec Ashes series against Australia in July and August.

As the official beer of England cricket we will with them all the way through the thrills and spills of the matches and there for you the supporter to refresh your nerves before, during and after each game.
