Living a life
of Pedigree

Marston’s Pedigree is a beer borne out of generations of brewers, decades of experience and lifetimes of acquired skill and knowledge. That’s what Pedigree means – a beer that reflects life’s journey.

That’s what living a life of Pedigree is all about. A life of discovery, fun and being true to yourself.

"You get lovely spicy hops, juicy malt and a very light hint of apple fruit, It’s an incredible beer."
Roger Protz, Good Beer Guide Editor
In 1952, Marston's launched a new pale ale. Christened Pedigree by Marston's Managing Director Sydney Evershed, it reflected how the beer had descended from a long line of famous brews.
A 60 year Pedigree

Pedigree is exactly the same as it was when we first brewed it in 1952 and it's still the perfect ale for today.

English cricket is in for a big 2014 and we’ll be there every step of the way.

Pedigree is the official beer of the England Cricket Team (now there's a bunch of guys who live a life of Pedigree). Watch out this year as we celebrate life's thrills and spills with cricket in 2014.
